The company was founded end of 2012 by the former co-founders and senior executives of Citydeal /Groupon International. Quandoo’s headquarter is based in Berlin from where the company operates all international markets.

Your Responsibilities

• Influence all aspects of an agile mobile application development process to build a user-centered operating system hosted on mobile applications running Android

• Work side by side with the CTO, Head of Product, and Design Director to deliver the most efficient application you could ever think of

• Forge, establish, and oversee all relevant new product ideas and, by this, create, implement, and improve a perfect customer solution in a timely manner

• Identification, testing, and fixing of all performance issues

• Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies

• Build a high-scaling business application in a complex environment of interdependent devices envisioned to continue to operate even in the absence of connectivity

Your Qualifications

• Master degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or simila experience

• Strong knowledge of MVC and OOP principles

• Very good knowledge of Java, other languages are a plus

• Minimum 2 years experience in building Android apps, familiar with the Android SDK

• Great knowledge of modern Android UI and UX patterns

• Minimum of five published apps with working network functionality

• Good problem-solving skills

• You’re able to effectively communicate technical solutions and innovative ideas • Attracted to challenges with a "can-do" and "hands on" attitude

• Fluent in English or German
